If you are unfamiliar with the Kiko breed a good place to start is an article written by Backyard Goats (https://backyardgoats.iamcountryside.com/goat-breeds/breed-profile-kiko-goat/). We have raised many different breeds of goats over the years, but we have been so impressed with the Kiko breed. There are many reason why we like them, but our main reason is their hardiness and mothering abilities. They can thrive in cold temperature and have their kids up and nurising in short order. The Kiko is a versitile breed that works well for a homestead situation. They can be used for meat, milk, grazing, packing and carting.
